Roy Moskowitz founded Reciprocal Results in 1997 as the independently owned corporate media barter division of $500+ million media service organization KSL Media. When the two companies parted in 2001, Reciprocal Results eventually evolved into a full service advertising, media, marketing, PR, and political communications company.
Roy Moskowitz also served as communications director of Democrat Steve Harrison's 2006 Congressional campaign and handles Harrison's 08 campaign through Reciprocal Results political division.
With the Reciprocal Results brand now representing more than just reciprocal trade and structured finance, its barter practice has been renamed R2 Trade. Mr. Moskowitz is Chairman, CEO and President of both companies and all other Reciprocal Results brands.
Before founding Reciprocal Results, Roy Moskowitz served as vice president of New Business and Sales at a leading corporate barter company. He has been involved in marketing and media since his 1984 Syracuse University graduation and entered the wonderful world of corporate media barter in 1988. In addition to barter, he has worked for ad agencies, media buying services and as the Progressive Allergy Center’s marketing director. He was also a print and broadcast journalist.
He is a member of the American Association of Political Consultants, the New York Ad Club, the American Marketing Association, the American Advertising Federation and was on the board of directors of S.T.A.M.P. (The Society To Advance Media Professionalism). He is listed in the Encyclopedia Britannica under Reciprocal Math and has appeared in Ad Age, Adweek, Mediaweek, Media Life, Media Post, Ad Bumb, the New York Daily News, the Staten Island Advance, New York Observer and Campaigns and Elections.
Personal: He is married to Ann Price, a Managing Director at one of the world's most prestigious financial institutions. They live in Staten Island, New York.
He is a Richmond County Committeeperson, which is an elected office and has been a presidential delegate. He is also a founding member of Sibro Civic and is a program officer for the Taproot foundation, which matches marketing, communications and technology professionals with pro-bono projects.
He is an avid runner having run track in high school and college. In college he also raised money for charity by running 10 miles backwards. He was also Syracuse University coordinator for a national presidential campaign.
He is a former stand-up comic and a member of the Society For American Baseball Research. He frequently blogs about political and business topics.
